muad'dib lives!

after missing last week, this feels like such a huge weight off of my shoulders. glad to be back in the game.

this week is another pseudo-dj friendly, bouncy warehouse track. I found some vocal samples that reminded me a little bit of some old lost tribe tunes, and that really put it over the finish line. this is also my first time doing a track for wb _not_ on the m8... all ableton this time.

it was really interesting to take the workflow I've used on the m8 that's gotten me to actually finish tracks and try to adapt that to the wide world of ableton.

Spicy. Sounds great and it really got my pet sandworm going on the dance floor.

This is a solid bopper. Got me bobbin'.
Little compositional shout out: I like the use of space where you have multiple parts playing at the same time and then it's just the drums isolated until the next measure.

when a song is this groovy, i simply cannot walk without rhythm! enjoyed this a lot!
