What We Do Every Night

By Jazzaria on February 22, 2026 5:03 pm

Once upon a time there were two mice. Despite their size, they imagined a world where they could do whatever they wished - where all other forces submitted to their designs. They had this dream quite frequently - essentially, every night.

Featuring metronome and saxophone quartet - baritone, alto, tenor, and soprano.

This is awesome! Kind of makes me think of the pink panther theme, hahaha... Super playful and fun!

haha i love it! How did you record the saxophones, they sound really good!

Thanks! Definitely has a similar cheekiness so I see what you're getting at.

Glad you enjoyed! Saxes are all me playing in a fairly quiet room pretty close (~1-2 feet) from a large diaphragm condenser mic. Afterwards I panned and did a little bit of mixing - iZotope noise removal for any background hum, and added a little bit of reverb.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing your technique. Of course your playing is awesome too, so that helps!

you're doing good work
