The Practiced Tone and the Drop of Blood

Periodically, things happen. The specifics depend upon whom they are happening to. Regardless, it can be understood as the union of two sets - that which is expected, and that which is not.

The expected is best met with preparation - practice makes perfect, when a thing can be practiced.

The unexpected requires something else - it asks of us a certain height. To achieve what we can, and to go beyond it, even - especially - imperfectly.

Featuring clarinet.

Delightful!  So many fun passages and great sounds.

If this had been licensed as BY-NC-SA instead of -ND, bits of it would have been in at least one remix next week tongue

I'm happy to grant exceptions/specific licenses to individuals! I license it BY-NC-ND because it's most compatible with various broad/auto-distribution services, and because there are bigger fish out there that might interpret SA a little too vaguely.

But if *you'd* like to do something with it please do, and consider it licensed BY-NC-SA specifically to you smile

Thanks!  I totally understand those reasons—I've wished more than once for a license like "BY-NC-ND-UNLESSITS4WB".   ilzxc once sent me an M8 bundle with the provision "This content is covered by WB license -- use however you want if you're doing WB, otherwise all rights reserved, FRO (or join WB)," which really captures the spirit of it (so maybe CC-BY-NC-WBorFRO).

dope and swingin!

an ominous title with a neat philosophy
everything is unexpected at first, but you can practice experiencing them
- Ebrit

Your description matches the song so well. Definitely a great contrasting melody. Doubling the notes on some of them adds such a cool syncopation. Great work. Really great work.
