wandering blue stillness

Not much time to work on the mixing, so not really sure how this sounds outside of headphones.  Started this one with a VCV patch using a looper called Tehom, originally I had a really dark sound which I wasn't feeling with the sunny vibes outside.  Changed up the VCO to a brighter warmer sound and the rest of the track unfolded from there. The Tehom module has a little fish that randomly roams around and crossfades between 4 simulated tape decks.  The track was to emulate the little guy exploring the lake as the sun shines to melt the ice above.  Hope everyone had a great weekend, as always thanks for stopping by for a listen, appreciate it.

Oh I really like that mellotron type pad that comes in early.  The dusty grooves really locks the tone done nicely.  Great stuff!

the intro pad is hypnotic and really grooves when the bass sneaks in so nicely.  Love the sound of the drums especially on that gritty snare as it dances with the bass and pads. Excellent work!

Ooh nice atmospheric triphop vibes. Love the tape hiss and warble on those mellotron sounds. Perfect soundtrack for a gray and rainy day like today. Sounds absolutely great on my headphones, nice work with all of the little stereo movements.

I always love hearing drums that have some dust on em. Great melodies throughout and fantastic arrangement

Really great sounds and arrangement! I agree it is a great soundtrack for a rainy day (it still is today smile).

Nice happy top layer with a subtly menacing bass that gets reinforcements from the perc

so nice & calming, but also with momentum. had to immediately hit play again once it ended
*i was also interrupted by a Coffee Marmot, so i wanted to listen again with full attention wink
