take me

Lots of fun and frustration making this weeks track.  Uploaded the new MPC 3.0 beta version onto my MPC live, the workflow is more like a standard DAW which works for me, however still a bit buggy with this beta version.  Being able to use the MPC in standalone mode was great, track was made all over the house, sitting on the couch, in bed, on the patio in the backyard.  Entire track was done on the MPC, not used to mixing on the MPC so not sure how that turned out.  I eventually learned shortcuts and things to make the workflow much faster, hopefully will use the MPC a bit more now, something appealing about not being distracted by the large screen of a laptop.

i really enjoy being able to work on music in different environments, while lounging, etc. nice that you were able to take the MPC around with you!
i think the mix sounds great  smile
i really like how you have the ghostly verbed vocals come floating in

Yes, sound is good, the beat is fat and crispy. I would like to hear some more of your mpc songs in the future.

Solid beat, love the strings (maybe?) sample, and vocal! Cool this was made all on MPC, sounds good!

Oooh i'm jealous of your portable-beat-making-skillz smile  That sounds awesome and relaxing being able to chip away at a tune in different places and not just in front of the screen.  The beat is punchy and solid while those string samples create some mystery.  Go MPC go!
