Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Normally I start a sketch for weekly beats on Thursday morning and finish by Sunday, away mountain biking for the rest of the week so had to start and finish this Thursday morning. Stuck to my comfort zone of making music to speed things up, but pretty happy with this one and how quick it came together. See you all next week.

Lofi beats to move on to. Pleasant, laid back, mixed well. Good effort, especially under time pressure!
Oooh love the flam feel to the snare. Gives the groove an extra laid back head nodding feel. Excellent use of the vocals and giving it some rhythmic effects. Hope the biking was chill too.

The sliding synth is really cool, it has a very organic sound. The vocal mixing and processing is really cool, taking a life of its own.
Tasty, feeling the groove. The vocal chops are so good. Ooh those chords at 1:30 or so are so nice ... this is great. Solid stuff, cool how something can come together quickly sometimes. Hope MTB was fun! I'm going to go on a few more rides myself before the weather turns. It's been a nice Sep. so far.
