montezuma's castle

By Jason Nijjer on April 5, 2020 3:15 pm

Found this synth preset in Arturia's Pigments, reminded me of old video games so that set the theme for this weeks track.  Pigments is free to demo right now until July, so worth checking out.  Found the video game sound effects from freesound.org to tie it all together.  Montezuma's castle just sounded like a cool video game title, but in fact it is a site in Arizona from 800 years ago.

good departure oh wow didnt expect the vocoder then the kick oh synthy noice

Great sounds! Nice vocoder.  Definitely has a game vibe.  The bass is huge and the beat, huger!

Great sound design, the game sounds are worked in really nicely. Love that massive booming kick.
