My daughter sang this song for me for Father's day, she learned it at school, it is a First Nation's drumming song sung in the Blackfoot language, the song translates to "I love you Dad."  I know nothing about First Nation's music but tried to create something that I imagined it may sound like.

That voice of your daughter fits so nicely in here big_smile and the backing with that flute is cool.
The beginning and the end are way cool in sound but i have a slightly feel of darkness that seems a bit odd for that topic...
I tried to get the full lyrics of that song... but google failed me sad

lovely! Has some dj Koze vibe to it!
Véry nice!

Groovy, but with a hint of melancholy. Very cool track, your daughter's vocals work really well here.

thanks, it's so true, as hard as I try I can never make happy music, this was my best attempt, however I am a really happy person!

this is so sweet!

Ah, i know it... Real happy songs are never work for me btw. I am not able to make them work... But you made a great song... thats what counts wink

Marvelous rhythm here, and a great atmosphere. Not sure about some piano chords fitting well with the main note, but the voice use is fantastic!

Great idea and fantastic execution... Now I must find out about Dj Koze smile

Have to check out Dj Koze, he also does some of the best remixes, I would have thought he was a household name in Europe

Oh, yes. The name sounds familiar, but I'm pretty out of touch of "what's in" right now. One of the disadvantages of being a middle aged guy with no friends interested in electronic music sad

Anyway, thanks for the tip. I'll do my research

Nice one! Great job with that inspiring source material. Very cool your daughter learned that in school. It does have that hint of somberness, as some of your tracks do. Glad to hear you're a happy persons though, lol wink
