Had this idea for a jazzy sample based hip hop beat, with chopping samples on the MPC. That wasn’t working, doubled the speed on the drums and kept one of the chopped samples and some how it developed into this, kind of a drum and bass tune. Hope everyone has a great week and sunshine, have been drowning in rain for a few weeks now.

The beat is sick, and so are the vocal samples. This is very hype. Lush chords at 1:30 - very tasteful, slowling the energy before going back into the groovy bass/drums beat. This was nice!
I hope the rain soon goes away, leaving summer sun for you and your family to enjoy!
Very cool soundscape. I found the drums a bit too distracting, rhythm wise, but I'll assume artists intention here

That pad is so gorgeous, sounds huge! Feels breakbeat-like with the way the drums are chopped and repeated.
I like that it goes super direct for a moment to focus on drums and bass, then unfolds back into that huge open space.

Loving how that break sounds. It has excellent Shadow feels with that groove. Takes me back to Endtroducing (which is 30 years old wtf) Played this twice cuz that beat be so nice!
