MPC week, most of this was chopped and assembled on the MPC then final arrangement and mixing in Ableton (still find it hard to arrange on the MPC).  All of this chopping could be done in Ableton, but something satisfying about using the MPC and being able to sit in different parts of the house and just jam on it.  Thanks for stopping by for a listen, see you next week.

Love the eerie bliss here. So chill , and lovely vocal chops! Great track brother!

yeah, buddy
you really got me eyeing that cute new mpc they just released (although it sounds like it's sold out everywhere)
smile

Ooof love when the beat drops in.  Such a nice kick/snare combo.  Really enjoy those flared out brassy notes too.  Excellent dark trip hop vibes throughout.

Sweet, very relaxed and mellow. Love the super clean percussion that comes in at 0:50.
Some serious Massive Attack vibes with the airy female vocals.

sweetly soulful heart

Chill groovy beats. Nice work!

I find the initial kick/snare intro is always so important to me. It shows the rest of the elements where to sit. Had a great syncopation to it. And I always enjoy things being slightly off the beat. The rim shots are perfect.

I wish I still heard music like this more. Maybe I need to hang around here more.

Pretty laid back grooves. The voice of the MC sounds familiar (Inspectah Deck, by any chance?)

The beat sounds quite tight, no doubt.

I wish you're having a great time with your MPC
