grind

This was the hardest week so far for me to get anything creative going, this one felt like a grind.

Same feelings on the creativity/productivity grind this week. There were quite a lot of Q-bert !@#$ moments this week in the process for me. smile  I like the housey downtempo groove of this and that wavy synth especially.  The distorted synth around 2:35ish sounds really cool.  I thought it was a sample at first.  Really cool delay/verbage on that too.

A nice build to this one.  My approach this year is just sit down for 1-2 hours tops and crank it out.  That type of deadline has been a lot less stressful for me versus actively sitting down and thinking about it for a while.

I like the boom_boom_babbs and the guitar jamming to it. The screaming is frightening like “stranger things”, predicting something crucial unpleasantly bad. Or am I wrong?

such a beautifully thick impact with the beat, yet so smooth with the vibe, a beautiful subtlety achieved in the juxtaposition here heart

really nicee rolling (grinding) groove heart

Oh man I feel ya, lots of weeks it's been a struggle to get those creative juices flowing, especially on busy weeks. That said this is pretty damn good, lol. Nice beat and pads in the first half, with those cool weird screamy sounds too. The guitar(?) in the second half is great.
