everything is possilble

High energy for this week after lots of mellow beats the last few weeks.  Put distortion effects all over this one, probably sounds a bit too messy, hard to mix and tame all the distortion.

Wow! this is a banger. Love the warm distortion on this track!

The mix is fine, the slight wonkiness from distortion overlays isn't a problem here, it adds flavor.

If you're going for cleaner separation, what I do is to EQ out frequencies that are too common between tracks, so that every track has some "space" in the frequency spectrum. And if you do have two tracks that are essentially the same frequencies, multiband compression with sidechain on one of them usually helps.

not too messy for me heart
those drums sound killer

looooove this beat!!

Thanks for the feedback and tips, will use them for future tracks

mix sounds great, drums sound toight (like toyger).  That main snare/hat combo has such a nice quality to it.  Like Russel from Gorillaz smacking his drumset.  The vocal samples give it a spooky/gritty sorta industrial feel ala Download/Skinny Puppy.  Nice work!

Ha ha, there may or may not be a download vocal in there

Distortion worked a treat and not over the top at all.  Almost has a late 90s vibe which is cool.

Yeah, I'm liking the distortion and the mix, sounding good to me. Nice beat. Going someplace a little dark, but with some tight confidence and swagger from that beat.
