Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Found a stash of old 45's and LP's in my Dad's basement from India from late 60's to early 70's, got a couple sounds from them for this week but hope to find more on them in the following weeks. Used a vocal sample and the opening synth from a couple of the 45's this week.

Oooh, nice! I like the way the vocal sample opens up the piece over the dry beat, and then the addition of the synth and processing keep drawing us in. Nicely done!
Nice sample flipping. I really like that flute in the middle 8 a lot.
It's always a fun browse going thru old records like that. The vocal with the wavy fx is a nice touch. The drums hit so nicely too. Oooh yais the flute drives the track forward. Lovely piano/keys towards the end too. The overall mix has such a nice warm sound to it. Nice work!
