breaking down your pendulum

Happy with how this one turned out, still have pretty weak turntable skills, but with the 10 minutes of recorded scratching was able to find a few samples that worked.  Wanted a gritty sound to it, hopefully didn't go overboard on the ableton amps.  One more week to go!

Alright, that is a very cool track. Good job on the scratches there. I like also how you use that vocal sample at the beginning. Cool combo with the low bass and the main synth hook. Loved it!

hell yeah the scratching rules!!!!  this is a HOT beat

really really really strong work

Proper grit. Great selection of voice samples.

Awesome track! The vocal samples and scratching work great. All the little extra cuts and a glitch parts add a lot of interest. Love that main synth line too. I could listen to this one a lot!

Love the grit of this throughout.  The intro vocals sit so nicely in the mix with the beat.  Love the scratching and the vocal samples used.  A true head-nodder!
