I love this song, and hate how important it is.  I hate that you have to write a song like this.

How has the world affected my music?  For the past few weeks I've been piecing together a song, with no idea what the lyrics would be.  Then last night I recorded the vocals and found my mind and emotions were in Minneapolis.  Check my upload next week, but yes fascism is here and it sucks.

I’m with Cow Tools - love this song, and also hate that we need it. The anger just grew as the song went on - like we’re all feeling.

My weeks two and three were both about what’s going on in Minnesota. It pisses me off. It’s exhausting and I want to do fun music for WB - but I feel like I can’t ignore it. And music feels like the only voice I have right now.

I think a lot about what Woody Guthrie had written on his guitar in big bold letters - “this machine kills fascists.”
