Destination: Nowhere In Particular

This is... kind've a song...?

The main acoustic guitar motif was the starting point for this piece, which I found in the idea vault from... 2017 maybe...? (I lost track of the original file after I started the project)

Although the chord sequence is generic, I kinda liked the note pattern so I went with it for a chill no-frills instrumental. It doesn't go anywhere, it's just a basic little vibe tune.

I attempted to make the journey to nowhere a little more interesting by being a bit more creative with the drum patterns to break up the simplicity so I didn't feel as compelled to keep adding extra melodic layers.

You succeeded with the drums! I enjoyed this. They have a voyage of their own. Lots of fun fills and transitions. I know that took a lot of effort and focus.

I like those crunchy drums.

Nice bass line over that cool little acoustic guitar line.

I'd say this is definitely a song. I has a has a very distinct feel. Maybe not going anywhere is exactly the story it's telling.
Nice work.

This is definitely a song, it's got all the trappings of one for sure.
