She's Out There Somewhere... (...With An Axe In Her Hands)

Submitted 36 hours before deadline?! What is this madness?! Pat on the back for myself, I even finished this a whole 50-ish hours before the deadline, but wanted to let it 'breathe' a bit before rushing to upload.

I basically started this because I left my acoustic at work, so the song I planned to do wasn't an option (I mean, I could've gone to pick it up, but... effort...). The MIDI keyboard was nice n handy, so with no plan, I just started tinkering, and this is what happened; some lame 80's slasher movie dark forest killer pursuit theme...? *shrug* That's what I was imagining as this came together, complete with poorly acted 'trips', unnecessary stopping to look around and purposefully avoiding to check the direction the killer comes from (convenient), badly edited closing distances (they're gaining... nope, they lost ground... they're closing in! they're so close! ...they're further back... THEY'RE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!).

This week I decided to tinker with the modulation and pitch wheels a bit, and also stereo panning effects and ideas, like bouncing the melody notes left and right. I also messed with less linear percussion ideas and effects, and also, this is my first submission done entirely digitally, avoiding my usual guitars and vocals.
