MANGIARE 606

By dj someguy on March 14, 2020 3:21 pm

Made this one completely in Ableton.
The drums are 606. It is the first time I use them, and I love the crispiness of the sound. [I did process the sound a little bit, maybe even too much, cause it sounded quite perfect already]
I am a journalist, and am working long days because of the whole Corona-shizzle so I didn't have a lot of time to make a proper track. It is more of a jam, but I guess it sounds quite organic as a whole.

Anyway: Wash your hands, stay healthy and have a wonderful week wherever you are

This is a great track, love the "gunshot" snare.

Nice jam

hang in there with the Corona-shizzle, lol

I had no idea you were a journalist, that is awesome.  Busy days ahead, but you have an important job to help assuage panic and spread accurate health information that will help people take proper precautions to protect others.

Agreed, those drums have a good crunch to them, great sound and super nice panning setup! I like the machinegun bass rhythm coming in bursts! Have a wonderful week as well, stay safe!

industrial electro. a vocoder track would be cool over this

Great mix of a tight beat, with a cool woodblock and the background strings that give an eerie atmosphere. Very cool.

Excellent groove throughout the track.  Love how the hats sound in contrast to the kick/snare.  If I knew how to breakdance, I totally would!

This is great!
I always love your minimal style... This is essence of it.
I used to go skateboarding with your tracks in 2016. I guess it's time to get the board out again smile Spring is coming... And in the nights i am maybe alone on the streets:)
Don't know why the cowbells are somehow scarry....

Really like the rhythm/beat.  The drums have great punch and ambience.
