One Way Trip To The Sun

By Jai Cafarella on February 20, 2022 6:58 pm

Oh, look who left it til the last minute again... I'm not really sure how this came about, but that's pretty standard with my last minute rush jobs. I kinda attempted to soundtrack a crash course into the sun. A spacey arpeggio driving a gradual build up of intensity as the end approaches, the haunting chant of the occupants trying to find peace in the inevitable, the unnerving sound of the hull buckling, not long now...

Awesome. Cool vocal harmony. So few elements, yet so vivid.

Agree with the above, this is great!

Fiercely driven! Like the passengers, perfectly resolved in what's about to happen, but perfectly in flow with their conviction that the energy within them can never be destroyed, only converted into something new and far more powerful

damn, i need to work on my giphy game, i meant to end that comment with this one but giphy hit me with a wrongly reloaded link XD

Great!  Just what I wanna hear when out of fuel heading straight into the star that gave us life

The distorted low noisy pad starting at 1m20 is great and brings to the imminent "crash". Nice quick one! I like it a lot.

You know that feeling when you walk outside on a 40+ degree day, how you feel the palpable HIT of searing heat? That's  what that texture at 1:20 sounds like. Smacked by the heat of the sun.

Love the vocal harmonies
