(Whooooa 2:26 is great).
I'm really partial to the way you balance the simple / foundational elements with the weirder and animated textures. There's a lot of very clever programming here: the detuned acid stabs around 3:30, the way you handle the emergence of different sounds is also really cool, the moment where everything stops at 3:59 to lead to the floaty delayed rising synth notes. Liquid, shapeshifting music, sort of a kaleidoscopic feel -- literally a trip. If I may make one suggestion: the kick needs to slam harder, at least in more hectic areas like 7:15-ish section with all the squelchy acid bits.

thanks for listening and for the positive feedback. I think you're right about the kick. the kick/bass balance is a little off on this one. I tend to bury the kick a little bit these days and bring the bass forward more, but this one goes a little too far, I think. Will probably rework the mix before an actual release. peace!

I like the buried kick also, particularly in the opening when the groove is made by syncopated percussion-like sounds against a simple and driving kick-bass combo: I feel the first minute or so works precisely because the kick is buried so it rolls instead of punctuates (a very neat effect). I trust you to trust your judgement.
