Luna's Tavern

By Jai Cafarella on September 13, 2020 5:25 pm

The intro piano riff is from one of my many random idea recordings, and when I came across it again, I got a 'local tavern in a 90's RPG' vibe from it (not sure why, but that's what my mind imagined), so that was the general goal. I was going lo-fi it to cram it back into the 90's, but in the end I decided to just leave it as more of an 'inspired by' rather than something that belongs in a SNES cartridge.

Yeah this for sure has that like Final Fantasy/Magitek city vibe to it. I can just imagine walking into the city for the first time as a player and exploring the streets while this tune plays.

this is perfect with the ambient crowd noise.  I can imagine that I walked in with a friend (late, sorry, traffic) and I'm all like, *whispering loudly* "There's my friend Jai Cafarella!  The one playing piano with the fluorescent green wig!" smile

great track

Yo, this place is swinging. It wouldn't feel out of place in a big band place either.
