Seven Minutes

Originally had something completely different for this week - did a mix and master, but it still needs some more work. Last night (Saturday) I was scrolling the social feeds when a video about the 7 minute theory popped up - in short, supposedly the brain stays active for 7 minutes post-mortem and the biggest moments of your life flash in your head, like a movie. Whether that is true or not, I don't know, but an idea came over me and I rushed upstairs, grabbed a guitar and started strumming. 30 mins later, this was pretty much charted out.

super simple instrumentation and arrangement - again, no flashy production stuff today, as I was the song and it's lyrics to be the focus - I like it.

This weeks original tune will be next week's offering the WB gods!

Oh my god this is beautiful.

You caught some lightning in a bottle. Love how you took that fast core idea and wrote a “love of a lifetime” song around it. (I found this kind of love later in life, and you got me crying. Second chances smile ). Beautiful, restrained, melodic and lovely.
