tried recording guitar for the first time

I didn't play a real guitar, just a virtual one, but mixing guitar is a pain in the ass.

This has a really nice vibe to it, you always do a great job of getting you moving while listening, what did you use for the guitar?

Thanks J.  I got session guitarist mint by Kontakt.  It’s a midi guitar vst with articulations you can change on the fly.

The guitar lines add a nice different texture to the track. But the main appeal of this beat though is the crazy beat, enhanced by good usage of voice samples!

The 2:24 onward Daft Punk voice + everything else going on & sounding crystal clear is pretty remarkable. I also agree that mixing guitar is a pain in the ass, but I generally think that voice + bright anything is hard. This sounds great.

Thanks a lot.  The hardest part of mixing guitar was getting the levels to match.  Wasted 2 hours doing that.
