I really love that the kick is compressed, and yet everything sits nicely around it, [spoiler=and]that crunchy wind-down at 1:57, sounds like it kicks everything out of the mix temporarily, and later with sparse interjections of other things, these form such beautiful accents and moments that suck me into listening more closely. nice work![/spoiler]

Some really pleasant sounds on this, interesting effect that crushes everything then releases, underlying bass keeps everything pulsing along.

That ending in particular stands out, and I love the vocal sample on this, it's kinda timeless and genre-less (and works in an even more disembodied way at first than it would in like a DNB track -- but makes total damn sense). Thanks so much for the kind words.  Summer has just been so busy, so just barely have the time to get something together.  I’ve neglected listening to some great tunes on here, but hopefully can get a listening session in this week.

Thanks j! I routed midi to the distortion pluggin stutter edit 2, and played it like instrument ( ie turned it off and on with my keyboard).  I saw Daedalus do, he’s obviously way better than me.

It does not sound rushed. That's a sophisticated track and the mix sounds nice to my ear! I really like what you did with the morphings of the track like at 1:57 - that's a fun effect that catches the ear, before going back into the bass line. Nice usage of vocal samples too. It's a cool track for a drive.
