Still out of town, just had a pretty horrible week. My head is just not in the game.

Hope your days start to get better soon, mate.
Nice bouncy bass line and melody. Maybe not your best production so far, but definetely there are good ideas there. Loving that tight snare
Wish you get all your stuff sorted, whatever it is.
Cheers from Spain, and as always looking forward to hear your stuff next week.

Got dumped after 4 years. The worst part is she was my best friend.
Thanks for the cheer, I love your stuff. I've always wanted to visit Spain, can I crash at your pad?
Yeah, man! Be my guest!
Breakups suck, man. I DO know. Does any of those awesome pinup models on your site share your passion for chiptunes? (I know I'm sounding superficial on this one, mate, but the key thing is not taking it too seriously... As I said, I DO know how much it hurts, so better living through... Videogames?)
Wish you the best, man. Sad moments require high quality tunes to get through it, and you've given lots of those to us all.
I guess all Weeklybeat people will be with me on this one: you've made my week a little bit better everytime I hear one of your songs, so I wish we all could send you some positivity back to you
Laguna said it... we all look forward to your work every week, not to mention your gifs. What kind of woman would give up all that?

Thanks Laguna, that means a lot to me, I try pretty hard to do my best for the wb crew since everyone here keeps the bar pretty high! Seriously though, everyone on wb has given me so much positivity, which is something severely lacking throughout the rest of the music world at the moment; part of the reason i took a break for so long. So Thank yew! =^-^=

Maybe the problem was I never gave her enough gifs? I guess I'll never know...
For what it's worth, I always enjoy checking out your music. I had a similar situation happen to me a few years ago. The WB project has been an outlet for those emotions. I'm no Dr. Phil but I hope ya feel better soon and have a beer or eleventy soon! (I am now as I type this) (for proof of this see how idiotic my description was this week!) Anywho I liked the bass line a lot and that marimba-ish sound. The ending has a calming feel to it with mother nature present.

Thanks buddy! The ending was a bit of field recording I did near my sister's lab, somewhere in Troy Ny. I should have cut out the low end and shortened it a bit, but I pretty much gave up on this one. Although I do like the bass line too! I might rework this one, but in retrospect, I think the bass line might be a little too close to NIN's A Warm Place... We don't want to make Trent angry...
On a side note… Do you dream in gifs? so many and so many right on point! (teach me!)
Hah! Not that I know of! But I have been known to act out a few of my fav ones for friends... I should really make gifs of me pretending to be a gif. My go to is http://giphy.com/, then tumblr, then google image search with type set to "animated". There is no real secret, I just look for gifs while I listen to the music, although being out of town lately has put a damper on that. Glad you kept the Steve Martin gif thread going! I've been learning to play Tonight you belong to me on ukulele as played in The Jerk, although I feel like the lyrics probably jinxed me.
ha cool thanks for the giphy link, nice one of trent! a warm place is my favorite instrumental by him (which i massacred with a piano cover). I heard a bit of similarity but that was after you mentioned it Also keep in mind, Trent's a warm place sounds like David Bowie's Crystal Japan peace meng!
i can feel an awesome power in this, especially in the last third. Great bassline and arpeggios.
I'm sure music will get you through. All the best!

Almost forgot, I also use Ian's image tools which makes pasting the bbcode links much easier... Hmmm, I would love to do a Bowiesque track, I need to figure out this singing thing...

Love the background sounds and then bass when beat drops out.
But I would go little bit easier with compression..
Anyways nice track!
and all the best wishes.
