Seriously though, this is groovy.

The bass line in this track rocks, but so does that organ that comes in a couple of times. Feels so perfect.

Oh wow the bass! It's huge and funky. And the percussions, the wood block, this is funky as hell. Good old keyboard adding to the vibe. And the toms! So much to love there.

This songs awesome man, love the groove at 1:05.

Whoolly fucks that bass! Funky as all get out. Flavors of Deee-lite and the Mothership. Nice!

Enough cowbell to soothe a fever!

The guitars are Scarbee Rickenbacker Bass layered with two octaves of Evolution Jazz Archtop.

Dang, you got it! This was a second-rate study of Groove is in the Heart, but mostly the original samples from Herbie Hancock and Vernon Burch!

Also fun fact, I've had the pleasure of photographing the fabulous Lady Miss Kier in my kitchen!

Whoa, that's too crazy to pass without comment. Do elaborate. Are you a photographer (when you're not doing music), and how did Lady Miss Kier end up in your kitchen?

I too would enjoy a "behind the ipaghost_photo_sesh".   Love that bassline!  It got me groovin in ma heart!

Lol, there isn't much of a story...Lady Miss Kier comes to Chicago on occasion to perform/dj at events. I used to shoot a lot back then and we just e-mailed her to see if she wanted to do a shoot the next time she was in town. She was really nice and would sing before the shoot! We had a blast!

I don't shoot as much anymore, but you can check out that set here.

Lady Miss Kier and the "Vote Baby Vote" mini jam on "infinity within" are playing right now in my home, after almost 20 years, and one continent away smile

Total respect smile
