Who remembers flip phone charms that lit up from GSM interference?

I'm reading it loud and clear

Haha I like the theme and the nostalgia of this GSM interference sound. Google's TTS sounds like she has a German accent, which somehow makes it work even better. I like the glitch like break from 3:20 onward. Hypnotic nostalgic track.

Sounds great! Love the voice!

Images of 1988 in my head and I am a robot! :]

I will never grow old of ipaghost jimmy jams

I love the GSM sounds! This track is a banger, super awesome work.

Glad I'm not the only one who misses it, I was playing with some short sounds, and it reminded me of the GSM, so I went ahead and recreated it, I didn't think it was going to be the main subject of the song!
Good ear! Yes, I used the Deutsch voice, I've used her before on SandwichySecrets, I think it's a fun one!
I threw in that grungy synth at the end at the last minute, made it a few weeks ago, but not sure where else I could use it except for something like that! It's got a nice howl! Kinda sounds cyber punky!

Adding lyrics and voice is a pain in my butt, but it makes the songs so good, I'll try to do it for the rest of my songs!

IKR? Thanks, it's slowly growing on me! Still wish I wish I ended it a bit better though.

Damn those vocals with the "french ish" accent. I'd bang that android, very sexy.

And as always, your beats are killer, wide stereo spread, very nice composition.

Ohhhhhh bring it!!!  It's party time!  I love that phone GSM glitch.  Such arps too.  Bass SOLID as a rock.  Full of cheeky moments.  Yaaaaaahhhhhh!!  Gets hectic by the end... such zizzexaxular bass smuzzles.

Ha ha, that cell phone interference noise!  It's hardwired into my brain. Tight ass bass and bubble synths!

I've been trying to limit the stereo width on my tracks, last year I think everything was too wide!

It is brought! Glad you joined the party line!

Wow, didn't realize so many people missed that sound! I should start a cottage industry for obsolete phone technology Sytrus patches!

The singer has such a sweet german accent. This is top quality.

I'm cracking up at the idea that when a retro futuristic dystopia sounds like a getaway-vacation, that is how you know you are living in a worse current dystopia!

True, I thought about that after I wrote the comment heheh. Best not to think too hard about it and just consume weekly beats

can't believe you got an AI voice with an accent.  kwazy.

killer job using the interference.  i have a 2g nokia cellphone and a microcassette answering machine for the ROTARY landline (unfortunately forced to switch to VoIP) and i'd hear that noise all the time right before someone called if it was next to the answering machine.  hilarious.

I still maintain that GSM (i didn't know that's what we were calling it) noise is present on Boards of Canada's track "New Seeds"

really really strong bass rhythm here.  really genius tie-in having the song fade/filter out due to "reception loss" A++

Oh hell yeah, 80s music from the future.  At least 2180's, we'll see.

I think you might totally be right about that BoC track! It sure sounds like it!
