Dashcam and myself went back to the future to bring you this gem from the 80s.
Put on your high-tops, drop this in your cassette player and enjoy!

Maaaaaan, I feel real envy... Everybody needs some Dashcam !!!

Whoah, those FM basses... Wish you could do a featurette with Corey Feldman and Corey Haim on the videoclip.

Seriously, this one really rocks, fellas. Both together made the perfect eighties team...

And that tape warble... man, I thought I had a good life until I hear this one... I'll search a Simmons hexagonal drum pad and cry my envy over it smile

Excellent 80's space synth.  Love it.

whoa the simmons toms... you guys are rocking the house!!!

Glad you caught the FM bass! 10 points if you can tell me what it's famous for, 100 points if you can tell me the synth!

In space, no one can hear you synthesize.

No hexagonal drum pads were harmed in the making of this track. I think. I didn't ask Dashcam if he roughed any up.

We also have a backup drummer/extremely sarcastic lead singer

+1000000!

soooooo classy. Phenomenal! Like Plantrain mentioned, i think this has to originate from a better sounding parallel 80s universe!

Then you weren't listening to it on Maxell premium quality compact audio cassettes.

I thought that everything was done on dx or fairlight back then:)

That would be an excellent guess! I'm pretty sure the original sound was from a Synclavier, which can be heard in this demo vinyl The Incredible Sounds of Synclavier II:
http://youtu.be/Q5__G8PO9Ag?t=6m40s
This sound can be heard in Michael Jackson's Beat It
http://youtu.be/oRdxUFDoQe0?t=20s

I'm pretty sure it was just sampled from the record.
The sound was also in Tangerine Dream's Kiew Mission:
http://youtu.be/ZPcglRBYfu0?t=35s
It is quite possible that it was sampled on the Fairlight as well since I found it in Cult Sampler's Fairlight folder as Synclav1, which I used for this song!
I'm not sure which synth Weird Al used...

I dont know how you find the time to fit in the music and the amazing gif design!
