Keirtaker (ft M.C. Starmtrooper)

By ineff on Yesterday 9:56 pm

It's becoming a UK tradition for PMs to resign during Weeklybeats, so it's become a Weekybeats tradition that―when one does―I helpfully chop their resignation speech into a demo tape to help with their next career.

Of course, repetitive tasks like this can get dull―so I tried an additional challenge this time: make the entire track from the audio of Sir Keir's public self-h̶a̶g̶i̶o̶g̶r̶a̶p̶h̶y̶ eulogyNo other samples, No on-board synths.

So: absolutely everything in the track―not just the lyrics, beatboxing, crowds, horns, or the on-the-scene-for-some-reason distant soprano choir (what was that about?)―but also every bass, kick, "synth", and sound effect are mangled from the same speech.

woah awesome tradition/challenge! Who knew he could beat box! yikes and i mean he really gets down with those bassy parts.  Love how he stutters into the outro too.  Good to hear ya back!

This is such a cool tradition, hahahaha... And incredibly well done with only using the sample itself for all the musical elements, that's super impressive! And welcome back to WB!!! Great to hear your music smile

Whoa... Cool samples manipulation.

Well played.
