Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This year, I was looking to change how I am working on my music. I am taking a bit of an Agile approach, working on breaking down one long composition into 1-3-minute delivery chunks. I am drafting future ideas several weeks in advance, refining the next release or two, and finishing one every week.

Very cool! The Agile approach sounds like a great methodology to make longer compositions work within the scope of the one-week timeline. The slow crawl from lush nature into electronic rhythms is really effective.
i came here to say that i loved how this builds, that the atmosphere and intensity really mesh, but that i felt like the track just got going before it ended. but then i read your description hahaha

Whatever works best for you, and by the sounds of it, this works quite well. Starts off quiet, gets intense, and leaves wanting for more.

Really nice intro, with the transition from the birds into the synth buildup. And the synth chirps were a nice touch. Finished too soon! I hope you revisit this later.
