Happy Week 2 Done!

Wanted to make something that could sit alongside last week's track, wanted to practice playing my Nord Drum pads. I'm still a beginner with drumming, but recorded some loops and cut them up on the Octatrack, layered with some other drum breaks so now they're hardly audible I guess, oh well, my process was just kept destructively recording and cutting and bouncing, slicing, re-sequencing, repeating. Used the Tempera for some pads. Virus TI for the arp. Spark40 for distortion via the OT's cue out. Processed it all through M8's EQ and OTT. Fixed some clicks in RX.

love those thick distorted tones! so rich!

Tasteful distortion. I tend to overdo it.

pretty funky in a dark kinda electronic way! drums sound legit! great job playing and chopping, still no idea how you did it but nice to read about the process!

lowkey goes hard

A veritable storm
- Ebrit

Punchy. Very tasteful layering of distortions. Cool chord progression too.

Fat and crunchy beats and bass. Surprising direction it went in, too. Sounds kind of like a Super Meat Boy hospital b-side or something.

Excellent grit, makes for an industrial-adjacent vibe, made me think of FLA. Could be a powerful beat to some protest song vocals.
