Swarm the Mothership

Been working on a live set for tonight, put this together as one of the tracks.

Inspired by megadrive shmup soundtracks, all Digitone 2 with a bit of post EQ so save ears from those high frequencies.

Awesome sound design, those high pitched metalic sounds are great... nothing like an FM synth screeching in delight!  Great groove through out too, just a very dope track.  ┏(-_-)┛~~~~┗(-_- )┓

The sounds here are really great!!! While this does make me think about a spaceship, I don't exactly see it in a shmup - instead, I feel like it's a tiny little spaceship exploring the enormous ruins of a mechanical planet (imagine like a long-abandoned Death Star or something). Very cool feel!!!

Ooh yeah that's a much better image! Thanks!

this is sick. it remind me a bit of Somatic Responses' early work, great live set smile

Your going to make me sell off some stuff to get one too. The Digitone was the one elektron box I didn't pick up but probably should of and now there is a v2.

Great sequencing and FM sound design.  It makes me think of parts of the Sega Bat and Robin soundtrack and the harder techo of Streets of Rage 3 soundtrack. Sega MD/GEN essence achieved. Solid techno either way.
