Picking up Signals

Sequenced on the Dirtywave M8, using MakeNoise 0-Coast for the arps and intro, patched so I can use the slope speed to control the arp speed, and go at audio rates for fun sounds. Used the Digitakt as an overpowered midi controller to tweak some M8 parameters live.

Been trying to get better at writing melodies, not sure if it's working but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Also wanted to make something that would be fun to perform live.

YES HELLO TRANSMISSION RECEIVED, HEADS ARE NODDING ALONG

This is fantastic! So much variety and it all comes together perfectly. You nailed the melody. This is the exact music I would expect on a near-impossible level of a game where they know you'll be stuck for weeks so the music has to be just as exciting the 500th time as it was the first. 10/10 would spend 40 minutes loading from tape drive just to sit and listen on repeat.

a suitable amount of bits were crushed in this production.

This is EXACTLY the kind of song that got me super interested in chiptune. Thank you, this is fantastic. Such a great sound palette.

love this! noise intro is fresh af.
