rejected

Need another week to complete a thing, so here's is a "rejected" outtake from that thing. (Was going to post a mish-mash of rejects, but they made the means of production obvious and didn't work together...)

I'm thinking about getting a vibrato pedal and can't wait to warble the heck out of everything

(looking forward to hearing the full thingie)

feels like a metaphysical experience of tape-flutter... i really dig this distortion heart

Can't wait to hear the stuff that wasn't rejected because I dig the chord choices here. So many interesting effects too, sounds like some reversing, skipping, distortion, and some frozen reverb or something. That little burst of bass right towards the end had me hyped for something loud to slam in, haha.

I'm curious to see/hear what the non-reject will be, but in the meantime this can shimmer away pleasantly and give my ears the tingles.

Accepted

warning: this track may cause you to reject gravity

“just add bass” instant classic.

I like this 100%.

Definitely interesting sounds there, like a some musical animals left to run in the wild. Looking forward to the "complete track".

yum, your lo-fi/shoegaze/hauntology zone is so good heart heart heart
particularly that pitch drop at 1:38, that glimmering chord is so full of wide-eyed adoration it runs out of breath big_smile
also wtf your track is only 2 seconds longer than mine this week (but it has way more interesting stuff in it)
faved, your quality control is TYRANNICAL

Awesome!

Sometimes the rejected outtakes contain all the original magic and energy.  This track feels like it's bursting with energy and unexplored ideas.

the use of space here is really nice

ear-catching moment around 1:10 when it suddenly narrows focus to the central scrape-y high tone

Great sound journey. yeah rejects can yield good results I find too. Feel like things are happening on my wormhole tunneling ship here
