I'm a sucker for melancholic piano. Intro is so powerful with the vocals and then, just like in life, things take a sudden change of course. BAAAAAAASSSSS! And then, just like a proper Orbital track it blends all into this harmonic unit at the end. This track is the bomb and one of the best things I've heard on WB. LOVE IT.

I love all the unique and crazy places you take us with remixes, the most unexpected yet sorely needed disturbances come out emotively and then release the inner spirit of the original work so much more. nice one!

Awesome, you did some great little surprises here, and sounds was huge. Hooked me. Nice blend of solid straight forward and glitched out beat. i need to go listen to the original now. That voice is lovely.

overall though, I think this is strong, and I think the subtext of the decisions you made fit the title and (what I can hear of) the lyrics. I think it's thematically sound even with those flaws.

[spoiler=ok buddy you asked me to tear this up!] not sure on the muffled piano in the intro - conveys sincerity and fragility but the spectral headroom it opens up at the top seems left unused. it tees up that room for the subsequent vocal, but when that comes in, the sibilants aren't quite stringent enough to take advantage of the full impact. intro bass sounds smooth and great, feels like it should overwhelm the mix but it doesn't. dubstep bass section is pretty thrilling, seems feedback-based or at least heavily saturated. could've made a stronger entry, though - was probably just one drum hit shy of really slapping. maybe a little rhythmically busy but you've got that cartoonish 2010-era Cristobal Tapia der Veer vocal thing going on again that I adore. the false transition with that midrange drone is interesting - I can't decide whether it works. in that same middle section, it feels like the upper range of the spectrum is maybe a bit wasted where more spatial/harmony information could be conveyed (a pad? a blast of reverb?) ending harmony lands a little off too, both in the entry and in the continuation. reminds me of late-era NIN a bit and feels maybe slightly muddled. pads in particular feel a bit undercooked. could use some more rhythmic density and a return of that thrilling crunchy drama you had in the second section. on second listen, I'm noticing the piano which I think would've provided a little more interest but again that piano is a bit lacking in high frequency content - needs to assert itself in the mix more. This is a really cool inversion of laamaa's track it takes like a super dark, gritty, dubbed out turn. The melancholic piano in the second half is just heavenly too, really nice touch for recontextualizing that vocal melody.
