The Shrike

By Ig0tw0rms.wav on January 22, 2022 9:49 am

All sounds are coming from a Digitakt, a Model:Cycles, a kaoss pad and an OttobitJr pedal. The intro is self-generated using parameter locks of notes in a specific key set to only trigger by certain percentages. The rest is a mess.

There is a video of me recording this jam on my youtube, if anyone is interested. My linktree is linked in my profile.

this track is a journey. really love the breaks throughout this whole song

Wild! I like the crazy drums and the voice samples coming in sometimes. Interesting mix too!

...Been trying to not get a Model:Cycles and you are not helping. Is the Ottobit Jr. MIDI controlled or hand-manipulated?) Lovely track.

it can be midi controlled but the way i use it in this setup is just hand-manipulated. I have a bunch of midi presets and shit when i use it with my guitar rig.

The reason it's not midi synced for this stuff is because i like to add the stutter effect on the upbeat or just at random tempos to get less predictable glitches out of it.
