The Magician

More LSDj, like usual. This time, I experimented around a little with some harmonic ideas that I haven't delved into asmuch, and spend an unusual amount of time for me in a major tonality (a theme I intend to expand upon for a little bit here). Fairly pleased with this one, but would like to develop it further in the future I think.

Loving the different parts in this and the transitions are so seamless. Amazing work!

HOLY GOD JESUS, how do you even come up with this stuff!? such a unique track and so many interesting passages! i'm wondering how you get such bold sounding instruments with lsdj? a little post-production magic maybe? either way, sounds amazing, dude

Love it!

Not much happening in post. EQ rolling off the super high and lows. The slightest hint of reverb on a send channel with only the wet sound and the lows/mids rolled off. Compression.

wow

Good stuff! I like hearing you working in major key stuff haha. Make more.

i really appreciate your progressive song structure

This is definitely in the right direction.

Thank you big_smile I struggle with having real structure and not just having one barely related part after another haha.

You'll like the next one then, but I may have gone too far with it haha.

Terrific track, with the usual great sound design. Composition wise I'm really digging the loud/soft dynamics part, that's not easy to do in LSDJ. As well as these rhythms.

You also remind me to do more with  "pitched noise" effects, haha.
