Combines two of my favorite things: comically misunderstanding something, and putting serious effort into silly ideas. Love the clav, love the backing vocals, and the song made me laugh multiple times. And it's a spot-on 70s soul/funk groove, which is doubly impressive when it's all overdubs and not a full band feeling it live. Nice work!

It's mad, it really came together well, as most songs this year, for the longest time I didn't have it, but then in the last minute I found something where I knew "this is it!" - that was the "wee beasties" thing in this case... and I guess a bunch of other stuff I can't even remember. Oh yea. It was more of a cheat for sure, I recorded it off camera too it's so funky I can't really do it at the same time as piano and lyrics. But I knew what I was going for and I'm glad I went this route.
