If you forget, remember

A text that's about two years old, containing my usual reflections on the self, big/small problems, and life. Performed with an improvised electric piano track and vocals. First recorded take, but tried finding some various harmonies first.

I went very freeform on purpose, mainly cause I didn't have time to spend on composing it for real, but I think even like this it could go better with more practice and a fresh take earlier in the day. The vocals def go pretty far from in-tune sometimes, but actually this is the best take of the ~3 I did. But I did consider this, since on a previous track someone mentioned how I could use some vocal tuning big_smile oh well!

It's a totally low effort jam, but I tried to give it a nice sound and mood. And I think the focus on this one is the interpretation of the lyrics. I think the lyrics can be reused in a new composition, altho as usual this might stick.

Hope you enjoy it!

Horatiu! I really liked the song and how it develops. Despite the few takes and low effort, you were able to develop a clear idea both in terms of lyrics and melody. I liked the jazzy chord progression and when you double the lead vocals with the piano. As a guitarist, makes me feel like playing some swing rhythm to support the tune eheh
Nice one!

Excellent poetry complimented by great musical improv. Love this one heart

Effort does not determine results! This turned out super cool. I feel like I’m closing down the bar with you.

Low effort track…. with a very respectable result.

Early '70s Zappa vibe!

Super nice. Many clever lines in here! I really like the touch if humor to a topic that is easy to take too seriously (not that it isn’t).

dig it

Smoooooooth sound. I love your pieces as they combine whimsical lyrics and whimiscal playing, piano virtuosity, nostalgia, and beauty. I usually see your tracks in black and white. Maybe like a Jim Jarmush Movie. That would be the perfect soundtrack for a scene out of Coffee and Cigarettes.

In-tune is overrated sometimes, though an admirable goal nonetheless.
