Truth Is Stranger

Inspired by all the great acid I've been hearing on here, I decided to try out Mikey303's acid preset on m8.  I think I could have gone a little harder with making changes more quickly.  Oh tell me what time signature you think this is in if you like in the comments.-

5/8 swing, nice

I love the drums and warm synths plus sort of disjointed melodies floating over, planning on the staggered beats is nice too, good work!

The super acidy bass in the opening feels so good! I also wouldn't expect it to fit with the more laid back chords at 0:25, but it does! The craziness that ensues is also quite nice - glitchy, crunchy, weird heart Great job.
Also: I have NO idea what time signature this is. I can never identify anything except 4/4 =P

Awesome beat(s?)

Sounds like time signatures

It was great seeing you this week!

wow!! I love all the disparate rhythms and feels each part of the track impart on the song, a wonderfully surprising jam! and thanks for the kind words about my MAGFest set heart I hope you had a great time at MAGFest!

Love the melody that comes in around 2:05. Nice work on the odd timing and mix of rhythms that all work together and don't feel chaotic.

this thumps hard! enjoyed the listen

That lovely wonk!

Man those drums sound great. They're obviously really hectic, but still sound kind of like somehow someone is really playing them - which is a very powerful combination. Great stuff.

ooooo. Polyrhythms for the win here. Great job weaving together a few different time signatures. The lead feels like it could fit in a video game. I'm picturing climbing a castle and getting rained down on by asshole skeletons.

Really liking the rhythmic work here.  Creates a great amount of interest especially with those breakbeats.
