After the last few weeks of distortion, swapped out the Manis firmware for BIA.
Removed steppy from the eurorack setup, went back to Pam's creating euclidean rhythms.
Got real weird with the euclidean rhythm lengths and triggers based on what Mimetic Digitalis' voltage was per step, all controlled through attenuators.
In addition to this, also used Pam's Pro as a quantiser. I've never done that before, very cool.
By the end of the patch, four attenuator was controlling a variety of settings across steps, rhythms, pitch and how much was going into electus version.
Very cool to note my wife was involved in this. The nicer, sounding buildup at the end of the track was all stuff she created. I just sat there in awe. She makes cool stuff.
Hacked up in Ableton, some compression and saturation. The usual.
