New module: Mimetic Digitwolis. Great upgrade. Fixes a lot of issues from the first MD, creates a new problem though: that name...

Anyway, it's a fun modulation source. I like stepped modulation sources. no rise or decays here.

Korg SQ-1 is still used for supportive bits.

This was a bit of a janky recording. Lots of sections to cut and merge together in Ableton, a few re-arrangements too. And using the FX chain I've come to rely on.

I'm definitely getting a better idea of what modules I need to build on this kind of cool music.

First time testing out the Bastl Ikarie's VCA, it's great. Still figuring it out but it's definitely a lot nicer than some of the other recent options.

Kick is the Battering Ram, bassline duties on the forever amazing Manis Iteritas Alia. MIA happens to be a plugin BTW, so if you don't have eurorack - get the vst big_smile

I might release the rest of this recording in a future week - still about 20 minutes of nonsense there.

I broke my usual rule with using 4/4 bars - it felt wrong so I just stuck with the basic 4/4 and I think it's better for it.

I'd definitely rave to this! Nicely done smile

I really like the rolling baseline. Reminds me of the run Lola run soundtrack

Hell yeah, I like this a lot. Nice and dark and driving. And always happy to see modular tracks!

Glad you enjoyed it. Modular is always the fun way to go. This year will likely be another modular year.
