music is becoming a daily habit again. most days start with a blank project and I see how far I can get in the day.

whatever I like the most that week, I finish for weekly beats. It was either this track or some weird rhythmic noise thing.

Started off with an amen break and that weird nature mono synth vst made by KIA (the car people).

Lots of processing, suspect the stems would look like walls of sound. This is fine, there's a certain level of dirt/grit coming out with some of these tracks which I find appealing.

Damn, I needed to find your stuff earlier so I can follow you. This is a banger! I love the use of the amen break here, I didn't recognize it in the first half until you mentioned it in the OP. Tight drum programming, and I love big-horror-wall-of-sound-basses.

woah cheers Judy! I am glad you liked it! this year's WB there's a few different styles I'm working on but a lot of it will have some sort of breakbeat mangling.

breakbeat mangling is life heart

Woah the Kia synth! I haven't tried it yet, but sounds like its usable. I like the 2:15 mark. Wide and pleasantly distorted.

most of what you are probably hearing is actually serum, but yeah, the KIA had a nice low-end though.

And yeah, that distortion is my favourite part too. Ableton's Drum Bass is amazing.
