Something like trauma

By hent03 on March 13, 2022 2:00 am

Neglected music this week. Don't have any excuses except for getting back into Brazilian Jiujitsu. Put together this acoustic thing with placeholder lyrics last night, and it'll do for this week. I would have liked to add a bridge, but oh well. I'll try and catch up on everyone's music soon.  smile

For one second, the intro reminded me of The Unforgiven, by Metallica. I think there is a lot of potential in your track there. The recording is low, but it gives place to the imagination. It's as if you were standing at your window and can overhear a neighbor playing in the privacy of their space, something more vulnerable and real than what the'd dare share in front of others. Silly thing, but I always like the sound of fingers sliding on the strings during a chord change. Nice evocative track.

It is kind of like hearing someone playing in another room, but it also adds a layer of mystery to the proceedings.  I agree, there's something extremely satisfying about hearing the fingers sliding on the strings.

You should quietly sing this in your opponents ear as you have them in a rear naked choke just to freak them the fuck out.  Haha.

Nice guitar progression btw and I like the lofi quality of the recording.

Happy hearing more your guitar! Your music is all wonderful but I still look forward for it. I like it's a live performance, it's a real moment. Lovely playing always smile

Brazilian jiujistu sounds intense haha.
Lovely guitar melodies

so fragile and pure. You present your true heart and no show effects. awesome.

so delicate & lovely

awesome about BJJ!  I did it once ages ago and loved it.

I like how tight, close, and intimate the recording is.  super intense title.  I can't really make out any words so it's a nice curiosity as to what you are saying.  Beautiful fingerpicking.

Love the tranquil feeling of this.  This would be a nice contrast (interlude) track to something that then gets LOUD smile nice work!

A quaint pairing of the chords and vocal melody to accentuate the harmony between the two. The way these your voice and guitar sit together is like sailing down the river on a little boat, listening to the water lap against the sides and the breeze brush against your ears.
