I got so caught up in life in general and some other creative projects that I completely forgot to do anything musical. So the best I've got is a hastily put together acoustic guitar song that my wife happens to accidentally be a part of. On the plus side, I read some fantastic short stories last week. I liked some of them so much I'm going to attempt to translate them.

This has a nice melancholic vibe. The field recording/raw live capture that includes all things happening around you are actually a nice touch, giving it more reality and taking the listener to that place.

I agree on the melancholic vibe, but the strumming pattern definitely keeps it upbeat. Love the soft humming and the background noise too, really gives it a setting.
