After nearly 2 and a half weeks in South Africa I thought I was ready to create something new and original. I´ve recorded a lot of interesting sounds, and would initially have used these samples and sounds to create this weekly beat, but the first results came out unsatisfactory.
This tune wrote itself, and it came alive through some reverse vocal parts, some iPad apps (genstrument, samplr,), a simple midi beat/synth created in Logic.
I will do my best to create some “exotic african sample thingy” for next weeks beat.
