Behind the smile

Happy and heavy, what a combo!
Healthy dose of picking practice from this one.
I found the intensity of the song to be analogous to how hyper alert and fast my anxious brain computes when I'm in an unfamiliar social setting, whilst I hold a calm demeanour.

Holding a calm demeanor? I don't know that is like.

Chords at at 57secs do it for me. Also the transition into the melody at 1:26. Nice work.

This is exactly the kind of instrumental electric guitar that gets me through the day. Solid songwriting and playing all around.

Nice guitar playing and rock grooves! I could kinda hear some bass as well? not sure if it's just more guitar.

haha, "attempting to hold a calm demeanor" is probably more accurate! Cheers!

Yep, its only 3 Tracks (drum, gtr, bass). Not my best mix and the bass mainly follows the guitar but its in there haha.

Awesome! Cool contrast between sections. And I am envious of your clean picking!

This is amazing!

Happy heavy is good heavy. Happy heavy is bad happy. I'll choose the good heavy.
