Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I've been playing a lot of Octopath Traveler II lately, so I wanted to kick off WB with something that might fit in a sleepy RPG town that's, astonishingly and against all odds, immune to the ongoing chaos consuming the narrative world. Maybe in a future submission I'll have to make a tune for the prerequisite fishing mini-game.

You can just tell from the music the water here is very nice.

When the track picks up it's immediately soothing. Reminds me a lot of the music in Stardew Valley. It's understated but still very attention grabbing. Great work!
