Requisite Impurity

The unbridled, imperforate spirit of a Terrhan is professed by the Sai to be unsuitable for ascension into the higher realms, beyond the veil of death. In preparation for this, newborns are processed at temples occupying energy conflux sites with a simple ceremony to open them to the influence of their multiversal Divinity.\\\\\\
///Heathens who do not participate in these rituals are said to remain in the gravity well of their planet, doomed to reincarnate over and over until they are fortunate enough to garner the blessings of ascendancy. First, aligned waters are used to wash off the earthy seal that contains the Terrhan spirit. Next, aromatic oils are allowed to leach into the very core of their being, making them more appealing to their Divinity. Last, a ceremonial flame is passed from source to parent to cauterize the etheric opening, allowing for visitation and inhabitation by the Divinity and Its delegates at crucial points in their lives. At their end, one so blessed offers the Divinity a vessel of ornate, lifelong craft, filled to the brim with holy delights worthy of ascension.
