Occidentalism

Those qualities that characterize a Western can be said to involve grandiosity, open, airy productions, and a sense of adventure and conquest. Most in the Information Age found this aesthetic to be outmoded and chauvinistic, but the so-called Old Guard continues to promulgate its spirit in most popular macronarratives.\\\\\\
///Such is its narrative magnitude in the New World that Westernisms crop up in the most unexpected places, from sources seemingly unaligned. This excerpt from the First Terminus Stream demonstrates an aleatory invocation of Occidentalism in its use of scale and timbre. Its local author wishes to remain pseudonymous to curtail associations with the Western temperament -- a curious precaution, given the diffuse nature of the Stream.
